Species 2 (1998)

Leave it up to our ever caring government to protect us from harm by those evil aliens. In order to fully understand the alien race that almost got us in the first film, scientists have taken one of the leftover embryos from part one and created Eve, an exact double of Sill, to fully observe and study. This time however, they have kept her alien genes dormant and keep all men away from her (getting Sill horny is the last thing they want) to keep her aggression at a low point. Everything is just peachy till an astronaut returns to earth, fresh off the first landing on Mars. Apparently, the soil samples he collected were infected with the same alien DNA that makes up Eve, and he becomes infected on the trip back to Earth. So, to make a long story short, as soon as he returns to earth he tries to bang any female that moves in order to create an alien race to rule the world! HA HA HA HA!!! Sorry, maniacal laughter seemed to fit in with that line. Two returning actors from the first films FBI team try to track our man down, before he and Eve our able to breed and create a pure alien race, or something like that. I thought this sequel sucked even more than the first film, though there were several positives I guess. Steve Johnson's special effects were excellent, we get alien babies bursting out of their mommies stomachs, one damn fine exploding head, and one cool alien creature at the end. CGI effects were used sparingly and that is always a plus in my book. The only other non crappy part of this film was we get lots and lots of naked chicks, and that my friends, can never be bad.
