Sleepaway Camp 3: Teenage Wasteland (1988)

Well, if you liked part two then chances are you’ll dig Angela’s latest (well, 89’ but still latest) rampage through the old campground. This time she’s enrolled as a camper at her former stomping grounds doing what she does well, weeding out the “bad” kids from the good in typical Angela style. Stabbings, death by flagpole (that was a first!), stick beatings, gunshots and even a nifty lawnmower sequence all come into play. Pamela Springsteen once again plays our psycho camper Angela, giving another nifty and neurotic performance. The rest of the cast is your typical disposable characters, though many of the female actresses frequently expose their breasts before biting the blade…that’s always a good thing. As with part two, you gotta be in the right mind frame to get any enjoyment here otherwise you’ll be saying to yourself, “boy, is this some stupid shit”
