Cheerleader Camp (1987)

I passed this one in the video store the other day, looked at it and thought to myself, "what a piece of shit that one probably is". Hoping to prove myself wrong, I plopped down my hard earned two bucks, and headed off to Apocalypse Headquarters. I popped my tape in and sat in awe of one of the biggest pieces of crap I have ever seen. Cheerleader teams from all over journey to Camp Hurrah to compete in various competions. Every once in awhile someone dies, and we are left with our usual cast of suspects. Is it the sleazy handyman, the pill popping young cheerleader, the downtrodden team mascot, blah, blah, blah. I feel like I'm being to harsh on this one, there sure were plenty of bare boobs and tight outfits to look at, and some of the effects were pretty decent. Look for the best "gutting of a fat guy" to ever grace the screen. Some of you out there might dig the 80's cheese factor this one posseses, and usually I enjoy that to, but you know....this one just stunk.
