The Funhouse (1981)
Probably Tobe Hooper's best film next to Texas Chainsaw. Four teens visiting a carnival decide to stay the night inside the funhouse, and let's just say that carny folk don't enjoy us townies dropping in unexpected. Hooper does a good job of setting the film up, and the atmosphere of the carnival and the funhouse is excellent. Add to that mix a cool monster by Rick Baker and some decent acting, and you get a pretty good little monster movie. You could do much worse, trust me.
