Street Trash (1987)

Director: Jim Muro

This one could easily take the cake as being one of the most offensive films ever. You want bad language, necrophilia, extremely dirty people, rape, nudity, crazy drunk bums, psycho Vietnam vets, psycho cops, castration, rampant puking, and last but not least, exploding winos? Well, you get all that and more my friends. Local liquor store owner finds a case of "Tenefly Viper" in the store's basement. Soon enough he's selling it to the local winos for a buck a bottle, and many moist moments soon ensue. Take a sip of this stuff and you'll soon find yourself bloating, melting, and exploding all over the place. The winos all reside in a garbage dump that's ran by a big fat guy who was in the "Toxic Avenger" I believe, and live in fear of the head bum, an ex-Vietnam vet. Various subplots ran through this one that never really made any sense, I just found myself marveling at the various wino meltdowns which are very, very, messy indeed. You also get a game of "keep away" with a severed penis and a nifty decapitation by compressed air tank, which will no doubt have you cheering with glee. Some of the attempts at Troma like humor fail, but I still found myself laughing at what was going on. Guess I'm just easily entertained. Crass, vulgar, gory, and just plain sick fun.
