S.S. Hell Camp (1977)

Here's yet another Italian "nazi nasty", this time there's an "Ilsa" styled commandant who keeps an ugly looking, oversexed mongoloid dude in a cage, throws virgins to him, and sees what happens. I'll admit I was completely wasted upon my viewing of this flick, so please bare with me.

Plot wise it has the typical story of nazi's vs. the underground, with the usual sadistic experiments conducted upon various prisoners and the like. Besides the rapes committed by the mongoloid man, we are treated to such niceties as fingernail yankings, bullets to the crotch, whippings, scalding dips in boiling water, dicks being chopped off, etc. It's all done rather unconvincing though, and I was disappointed to say the least, especially after all of the word of mouth concerning this film as being one of the vilest of the "nazi atrocity" sub genre. Many parts are extremely slow and talky, with the majority of the sick stuff coming at the end of the film. Loads of crap ass acting and terrible f/x fill the remaining time, and if not for the 12 Coors I absorbed I probably would have turned this one off early, or at least leaned heavily on the old fast forward button. Many scenes try to shock, such as the scene where a baby gets machine gunned by a group of nazi thugs, but it's all so phony looking things are laughable rather than shocking. The only interesting thing about this flick was that mongoloid dude in the cage..I mean, what an ugly bastard! In one scene that was actually fairly disgusting, after violating a young chick the dude rips out her pubic hair and chows down on said curly hairs! I guess you gotta love that huh? Over all though, I'll admit I was pretty disappointed here, "Ilsa" still remains supreme in my book in terms of shocking nazi nastiness.
