I Spit On Your Grave (1980)
One of the more infamous examples from the revenge genre of films, this one is pure exploitation all the way. A female writer retreats to a secluded cabin in the country to write a novel. There she is attacked and brutally beaten and raped by a group of inbred scumbags. This movie was really rough to watch. I personally find no titillation in watching scenes of a woman getting repeatedly raped, over and over again. The scary thing about it is, there are sick fuckers out there who do this shit. The poor lady does get revenge on her attackers, and you will cheer her on, trust me. Best scene of revenge is the castration scene, which is pretty effective. All in all, not a good movie to watch on a first date, and just to much of a downer to have any fun with.
