The Beast (1975)

This one is sort of a French art-house/sleaze flick that retells the "Beauty and the Beast" story to a certain degree. I was fairly inebriated during this one; so don't expect any pinpoint plot analysis here. Like you could ever expect that from me anyway, right? A young girl arrives with her aunt at a French château for her arranged wedding with some dude she's never laid eyes on before. I guess that's why it's called an "arranged wedding" huh? Anyway, while awaiting her impending marriage, she starts to fantasize about a giant wolf/bear beast that according to legend resides in the local woods. In her dreams she sees a young girl getting it on with the beastie and awakens from each dream in a rather horny mood. That's really all there is to it. Lots of people call this one an erotic masterpiece of sorts, but ah, I really did not get it. The main attraction (if that's your type of thing) is to see the one broad get it on with the creature out in the woods. Think French chick on a gallon of Spanish fly, wolf thing with a horse's cock, and both going at it like no tomorrow. There was a little subplot about the chicks soon to be husband perhaps being the creature or something, though I really can't recall. Sorry. This one has been banned for like the last 25 years and it's fairly easy to see why. It is fairly hard to find, though if you're curious and into wolf things screwing nubile French girls then track it down.
