Fairly nice late September afternoon, paired this Goose Island brew with a Perdomo Habano Maduro Toro. Though fairly hoppy on the finish, almost to a point where it was a bit much, I really enjoyed this fall offering from Goose Island. Not overly heavy or malty, this one was very easy to drink (I finished the whole six pack) and had a good marzen flavor. Brew tasted better as it got slightly warm, so I got in the habit of setting a bottle out as I poured a new one. Paired great with the cigar. Though maybe just a little too much hops, I really enjoyed this beer. Dew stopped over to bullshit on maybe one of the last days for the old porch.
Verdict: Surprisingly good.
