Creepshow (1982)

You would think that a movie involving three of horror's all time great's, Stephen King, George Romero, and Tom Savini, would have came up with something a tad more inspired than what they delivered here. The main problem I had with this movie, was that all the the stories seemed, quite simply put, boring and predictable. Anyone who has read any of the EC comics knows you can predict the ending practically on the first page of the comic, and in this case concerning the movie, the first five minutes of each tale. I'm not going to get in-depth here, but we get two "revenge from the grave" stories within the first three segments. That's to damn redundant I tell you! This one is good for some cheap thrills, if you do not come expecting to much. I just found that the writing and f/x were to cruddy for such a top caliber crew. Good for a rental and that's about it.
